Elche villas and Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem

Elche is a small town south of Alicante it is the location of the “Palmeral de Elche”, filled with 2000 palm trees that were imported from Africa by the Muslims when they first arrived in Spain in 711. The dry and Arid landscape needed the Palm groves to give a welcome shade to the hot sun, a unique place that while your on your holidays in an Elche villas to find some time to take a closer look at.
