Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation; Mallorca’s treasure

In the year 1940 residents of Paris received a visit they never anticipated; German troops under the control of Hitler invaded and occupied Paris. Many people had to vacate Paris fast among them an artist called Juan Miro and his wife Pilar Juncosa. They entered Spain to the city of Mallorca.
