The Orange Train to Soller on Mallorca Holidays

While on holiday in your MALLORCA HOLIDAY RENTALS take a day out of your busy schedule and go back in time on the Soller Orange Train. On the Island of Mallorca between the Islands capital and a small town of Soller is the Soller train. What used to be the orange express carrying oranges from Soller to Palma port has become a tourist train running through the mountain range of Serra de Tramuntana. It opened the day after the Titanic sank on 16th April 1912 and had been delivering oranges to Palma since. That is until the roads improved and an alternative route was found. It’s now a tourist train using electric locomotives on a narrow gauge track.
