Antoni Gaudi, the architect son of Barcelona, has been responsible for a lot of things to see including the unfinished Segrada Familia. Park Güell is another masterpiece of Gaudi although initially it was based on an idea from Sir Ebenezer Howard, an English writer. He came up with an idea of garden cities which he wrote about in his book “Garden Cities of Tomorrow”. The house in which Gaudi lived until his death is within this park and it has since become the Gaudi museum.
