Monte Perdido in the Pyrenees for your villas in Catalonia

For a day out from your villas in Catalonia but you don't fancy a climb why not go for a walk in the Ordesa National Park as it offers some of the best hiking in the Pyrenees. It doesn't matter what level of walker you are as there are trails to suite all especially with the varied terrain present in the park. If you are out for a Sunday stroll take the trails on either the Ordesa or Anisclo Valleys. As you proceed along the valley floor with its river and waterfalls scattered along the way that are flanked on either side by high cliffs, you can't help but be impressed. Imagine a walk through meadows filled with flowers, beech and birch trees: this heaven on earth is in the Ordesa valley. Your trail will come to a stop at the waterfall in the Circo de Soasa which is overshadowed by the Monte Perdido Mountain. You can go it alone with a guide book or to make it easier hire a local guide for the day, whichever way you choose, you’re in for the time of your life.
