Salt Museum

The salt museum is located in Torrevieja just off Calle Patricio Perez and lies on the shore of Lake Onondaga. It captures major historical sceneries and is definitely an experience you do not want to miss . Its structure is of actual salt water house timbers which gives it a very distinct look and one of the interesting sites in the museum is the boiling block; where salt water turned the most precious commodity way back in 1910's. The museum offers several dynamic exhibits and artifacts and is a great place for school kids to spend a holiday as it offers learning about the history of Syracuse's salt production. A family can enjoy there day at the Museum and learn about the salt production history and it also stocks salt made handicrafts, historical artworks on the salt and photographs on the historical moments of the museum. One can also have fun swimming in salt water lagoon and photographs taken from this museum are always gorgeous. Classic hotels surround the museum offering catering and accommodation and travelers can hire a Torrevieja apartment if they desire .
