Torre Tavira

Despite the towers rather modest height of 45m above the sea level Torre Tavira is the tallest remaining watchtower found in Cadiz city and offers a panoramic view of the whole bay . The tower was named after its first watchman, Antonio Tavira and Torre Tavira is also home to the Cmera Oscura. Cmera Oscura is a camera that projects moving pictures of the whole of Cadiz city into a wide dish shaped screen which is very interesting for tourists to see and an expert gives visitors a talk about what they are looking at in English, Spanish, German or French.
