Visiting Jardin del Papagayo

Jardin del Papagayo is a nature park with an array of exotic birds and is located in the South of Spain. Visitors can walk through many different enclosures to see birds like parrots, cockatoos and toucans. There are daily shows with parrots and one can play with cockatoos and even feed them if they so wish. There is also a souvenir shop and a pet shop where one can purchase items and pets to take home. The nature park even has Australian kangaroos that can be seen by visitors. The entrance fee is 12.80 Euros for adults and People over 65 years are charged a reduced fee of 8 Euros and groups can also enjoy a discount of 10% to 15%. There are many hotels in both Benicarlo and Peniscola like Peniscola Palace and Estudios Voramar which a few miles from the park. Jardin del Papagayo is an excellent park for family and educational tours but remember to book your accommodation well in advance as this is a very popular tourist place.
